Evelyn Andrade ( my cousin) on her own book cover

Recently, Evelyn Andrade (my cousin) released her book The Limit Is Not Trying, which, by the way, I absolutely had to read. Not because she is a family member, but because I needed inspiration from someone as successful as she is—someone who, from knowing her personally, I know has gone very far in everything she has set her mind to.

She is a principled woman, a leader, inspiring, and of course beautiful inside and out—I say this honestly.

In the book, she begins by giving thanks to many people who helped her go far, such as family members and mentors.

She then continues by telling her story: where she was born, her move to another country, what her childhood was like, her upbringing, etc.

She also shares how difficult it was to go through stages such as her adolescence in another country and the insecurity she experienced while living there.

From a very young age, she set big goals for herself. Later, she emigrated to the United States, where upon arriving, not everything was easy.

She faced challenges, difficulties, and a complex period of adaptation, but instead of stopping her, this pushed her forward and made her not a victim of the situation, but the protagonist.

She dreamed of becoming a multinational Director of Human Resources, which was not easy, but with a good strategy and a clear vision, she achieved it.

Her recommendations in the book for achieving any goal are:

  1. Define a goal—the more specific, the better.
  2. Visualize yourself achieving this goal.
  3. Set short-term goals.
  4. Focus and determination.

In the book, she also describes how, like anyone else, she faced many obstacles and negative comments. During those moments, she sought focus that would bring her closer to her goals, such as surrounding herself with people who would encourage her to keep pursuing them.

Believing in oneself.
A chapter of the book and also a powerful tool for achieving goals.

Discipline.
Another essential part, described as a fundamental pillar for making what we desire a reality.

Meditation and reflection.
These strengthen your spirit, align you with your goals, and help you develop a clearer vision.

Overall, it is a book that I truly enjoyed reading. I discovered anecdotes from her life that I didn’t even know, and others that honestly don’t surprise me—she was always a studious, organized young woman with a strong desire to go far.

I sincerely continue to wish her success and hope she shares all her tips for going far in life.

With love,
For you, Evelyn Andrade,
from José Manuel
